Ian Funnell joins NG Bailey Board

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Funnell as Non-Executive Director. Ian, a Chartered Engineer, has previously held CEO roles at Hitachi Energy UK and ABB. Prior to that, Ian held the role of Managing Director of Transmissions at SSE.

As an experienced Non-Executive Director, Ian is currently Chair of both the National Nuclear Laboratory and CBI North-West Region. He is as also Commissioner for the COVID-19 Recovery Commission, a Board Member of both Innovate UK and the Energy Futures Lab at Imperial College. Ian is also a mentor for the global high potential female talent programme and an Ambassador for the Women’s Leadership Association.
